About Scott Schlange
Scott leads KeyBank’s Commercial Banking efforts in Idaho, driving collaboration and coordination of KeyBank activities and resources, and actively engaging with the community. He partners closely with KeyBank’s Corporate Responsibility Group to develop and implement a philanthropic investment budget and strategy that meets community needs. As a commercial banking leader, Schlange works closely with clients to meet their commercial banking needs through KeyBank’s capabilities in cash management, payments, equipment finance and other banking products and services. Scott joined KeyBank in 2017 following a 13-year tenure with Wells Fargo where he led various business units throughout Los Angeles.
Prior to Wells Fargo, Scott was a branch manager at Washington Mutual. Scott had a successful career in education prior to focusing on financial services. Scott is a graduate of California State University of Northridge, California and has achieved certifications from the California Bankers Association Commercial Lending School, the Pacific Coast Banking School and the Rady School of Management. Scott is currently enrolled at Cornell University completing a Master of Law program. Scott is active with the Boise Chamber of Commerce, Idaho Technology Council, Northwest Association for Blind Athletes, and Idaho Business for Education. He previously held roles on the board of the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust and on USC’s Pacific Asia Museum. He is most proud of his family, composed of his amazing wife Alyson and three kids, Selah, Samson, and Shiloh, as well as two dogs. Scott and his family enjoy camping and hiking and taking in all the beauty Idaho has to offer.
