About Easy Composting
Learn the basic principles of composting, what organic materials to use and how to build a compost bin. You will learn about different methods of composting, there is a method for everyone. And, learn how to care for your compost for the best result. How to use "humus" (finished compost) in your yard and garden will also be presented.
About Ann Marie Schram
Ann Marie Schram is an Advanced Master Gardener and Master Composter. She has been involved with the Master Gardener and Master Composter programs, through the U of I, Ada County, since 2017. Composting is Ann Marie's favorite gardening practice and she is enjoying the opportunity to offer composting presentations around the Treasure Valley. She enjoys working with 4-H and FFA kids where she teaches meat and dairy goat showmanship. Ann Marie and her husband live in Star on a goat farm, she enjoys making goat milk soap products and making quilts but gardening and composting are her passions.
